MINNESOTA: An Evening of Messages with Peter Veth
Beyond his artistic contributions and longstanding collaborations with Wattanak Dance Troupe, Peter is a Cambodian American psychic medium, healer, dancer, and creative director. Deeply rooted in his cultural heritage and ancestral wisdom, Peter brings together storytelling, performance, and spiritual practice to create meaningful experiences that foster connection, remembrance, and healing. Through his work, he offers comfort to those seeking a deeper connection with loved ones who have passed.
This November, Peter returns to Minnesota for an intimate, gallery-style evening exploring love, remembrance, and the enduring connections we share with those who have passed. Throughout the evening, Peter will share messages as they come through, inviting guests into a space for reflection, connection, and comfort. While individual readings are not guaranteed, messages shared with others may hold personal meaning, offer reassurance, or bring a sense of peace. Whether or not you receive a personal message, the evening offers an opportunity to gather in community, honor those we carry with us, and reflect on the lasting bonds that remain beyond this life.
Choreographers' Evening 2026
Garrett Sour, Co-Artistic Director of Wattanak Dance Troupe, presents Where the Earth Awakens as part of the Walker Art Center’s Choreographers’ Evening, an annual gathering of choreographers and movement artists from across the Twin Cities. This year’s program is curated by choreographer Ashwini Ramaswamy, bringing together a range of artistic voices and perspectives through an evening of dance and movement.
Drawing from ancient Cambodian mythology, Where the Earth Awakens explores the relationship between memory, lineage, and the natural forces that shape our world. Inspired by the mythological origins of the Naga and the union of the earthly and divine, the work reflects on the stories carried across generations and the ways they continue to live within the body. Through classical dance, Sour considers tradition not as something fixed in the past, but as a living inheritance, continually renewed through those who carry it forward. Like the earth itself, these stories hold traces of what came before while making space for what is yet to emerge.
Special Master Class with Guest Artist Peter Veth
Wattanak Dance Troupe is pleased to welcome guest artist and teacher Peter Veth for a special master class this November. Born and raised in the United States, Peter has dedicated more than 20 years to the study and practice of Robam Boran Khmer, or Cambodian classical dance, exploring its physical, spiritual, and cultural depth. Peter has been a longtime mentor and collaborator of Wattanak Dance Troupe, sharing his knowledge, guidance, and artistic perspective with our dancers over the years. We have learned so much through his continued involvement and are excited to welcome him back to the studio. You may have seen his work in our most recent production, Following the Serpent’s Veil, where he served as choreographer and artistic advisor alongside Chummeng Soun. This master class offers an opportunity for our dancers and the wider community to learn from his experience and artistic practice.
